Flaming Gorge Dam Celebration in Vernal

Delegates for the Upper Colorado River Storage Project speak to a crowd at the city park next to the courthouse. After twenty-two years of promoting the project success had finally been reached and reservoirs would begin to be built including Flaming Gorge Dam, Steinaker Reservoir, Tyzack (Red Fleet) and Upalco Reservoir.
