Ute Indians line up on horses during the beginning of the UBIC held in Fort Duchesne. The Uintah Basin Industrial Convention began in Fort Duchesene in 1923 and still continues today. Representatives from universities and colleges around the state gave lectures on topics such as agriculture, livestock, poultry, irrigation development and home building.
