With the termination of the Uintah Railway in the 1930's the houses from Rainbow were moved to the community and gilsonite mine area of Bonanza, Utah. By 1937 many of the houses had been numbered, taken apart and then rebuilt. Some of these houses have been moved three times being built in Dragon, moved to Rainbow, and then to Bonanza. Miners and their families were excited to have these houses to live in and other families lived in tents at Ignacio. They were waiting for one of these houses to be available to live in
