Volume5/2000_May24PULSE May 24, 2000 UNIVERSITY OF UTAH HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER Penny Drive Raises $400 for Peds Clinic Paul Young, M.D., associate professor of pediatrics, and Sandi Martin, R.N., director of Community Outreach and Volunteer Services (along with her reading-assistance dog Olivia) accept a donation of $ 400from the hospital's Child Development Center ( CDC). The money will be used by Clinic 6 ( pediatrics) to purchase new books for the Reach Out and Read program, which allows doctors to give young patients a new book at every well- child visit.
