Homonymous-hemianopia unaccompanied by other neurologic signs is a common problem with which the ophthalmologist must deal. In the last three years we have seen 63 patients with isolated unilateral or bilateral homonymous visual field deficits. In this same time period computerized axial tomography (CT scan) has emerged as the most valuable study available for evaluating these problems
