Dr Glasgow was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1932. Dr Glasgow received his B.A (1954), M.S. and M.D (1958) from the University of Rochester. The early years of Dr Glasgow's professional career were spent at the University of Rochester where he was: Chief Resident (1962-1963), Instructor in Pediatrics and Microbiology (1963-64), Assistant Professor in Microbiology and Senior Instructor in Pediatrics (1964-1965), Assistant Professor Microbiology and Pediatrics (1965-1967), Associate Professor Microbiology and Assistant Professor in Pediatrics (1967-1968), Associate Professor of Microbiology and Pediatrics (1968-1970).
