Ev tozu allerjenleri atopik hastalıkların patogenezinde önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Çalışmamızda, ev tozunda yer alan temel allerjen kaynakları ve spesifik IgE antikor pozitiflikleri arasındaki ilişkinin araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Miks ev tozu (hx2) alerji panelleri ile pozitif bulunan 40 gönüllünün, serum örneklerinde spesifik IgE çalışmaları sonucunda, 11’inde (%27.5) d1 (Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus), 7’sinde (%17.5) d2 (Dermatophagoides farinae) ve 5’inde de (%12.5) i6 (Blatella germanica) pozitiflikleri saptanmıştır. Evlerinden alınan toz örneklerinde ise major allerjen kaynağı olarak bildirilen akar türlerinden D. pteronyssinus 11 (%27.5) oranında bulunurken D. farinae saptanamamıştır.
