Saturday 18 Fine bright day, pleasant ride to SF. The bay lovely in color & the hills about it. Rather cool & windy in the evening. Had a talk with Mr. Upham a director of the new railroad on its prospects. Had a meeting of the Sierra Club. Very few present.
