[EN] The use of glass fibers to prepare composites (GRC) with Portland cement matrix makes them weak because of the alkalinity around them, wich is generated mainly by the portlandite. The fibres deteriorate themselves in the inner of the matrix, and the mechanical properties became worse with the aging process, like, for example, bending strength and toughness. It is interesting, therefore, the study of specimens by non-destructive methods (NDT) of vibrational spectroscopy (NIRAS) and the comparison and correlation of the results obtained by this technique with mechanical parameters.
