La influencia de la arquitectura efímera en la arquitectura construida. El caso de Mies van der Rohe

[EN] Temporary architectures are not only relevant for configuring the scenes of major architectural experimentation from a certain period, but also for the influences they have on permanent architectures that were built at a later stage. Precisely, it was this conceptual search for the ephemeral, which enabled to a large extent, the research and development of the works of Mies van der Rohe: exhibition architectures that, despite the quantitative and qualitative importance represented in the Miesian production, are not referenced in its entirety, nor have there been an in depth study made; ephemeral architectures that offer new perspectives which are worth being investigated with rigor. And so, the aim of this article is to provide clarity to the exposed works of Mies van der Rohe, beginning with an exhaustive work in historical archives. A methodology based on and supported by photographs, catalogue and writings that immortalized the architectures that the past saw set up and dismantled. From the analysis and interpretation of said historic documents, the investigation concludes by suggesting a series of relevant discussions for theory and critique of ephemeral architecture as well as his permanent architecture. First, providing the full list of his exhibition legacy, (a list, to date unpublished and from there the originality of this study has been founded), and secondly, outlining the foundations tested in exhibition scenarios, which were later transferred to his buildings constructed in real environments.[ES] Las arquitecturas temporales no sólo son relevantes por configurar los escenarios de mayor experimentación arquitectónica de una determinada época, sino también por las influencias que ejercen en las arquitecturas permanentes construidas con posterioridad. Precisamente, fue esta búsqueda conceptual a partir de lo efímero, la que posibilitó en gran medida, la investigación y evolución de la obra de Mies van der Rohe: arquitecturas expositivas que pese a la importancia cuantitativa y cualitativa que supusieron en la producción miesiana, no están referenciadas en su totalidad, ni estudiada en profundidad; arquitecturas efímeras que ofrecen nuevas perspectivas y por tanto merecen ser investigadas con rigor. Así pues, el objetivo del presente artículo es el de proporcionar claridad a la obra expositiva de Mies van der Rohe, a partir de un exhaustivo trabajo de archivo histórico. Una metodología basada y fundamentada en las fotografías, catálogos y escritos que inmortalizaron las arquitecturas que el pasado vio montar y desmontar. Desde el análisis e interpretación de dichos documentos históricos, la investigación concluye planteando una serie de discusiones de relevancia para la teoría y crítica, tanto de la arquitectura efímera de Mies como de su arquitectura permanente. En primer lugar aporta el listado completo del legado expositivo del arquitecto (listado hasta la fecha no publicado y de ahí estriba parte de la originalidad de este estudio) y, en segundo lugar, enuncia los fundamentos que ensayó en los ambientes expositivos que posteriormente trasladó a sus edificios construidos en entornos reales.Lizondo Sevilla, L.; Santatecla Fayos, J.; Martínez García, SJ.; Bosch Reig, I.
