SIKAP PEMUDA NEGERI AMAHUSU TERHADAP PELA

The existence of pela as a custom in Maluku has an important role in the midst ofdiverse identities in Maluku. This research was conducted to describe the attitudes of theAmahusu village youth towards pela. The sample from this study was 155 young people ofAmahusu village. Retrieval of data in this research uses the scale of attitudes towards pela.This research method is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The calculationof descriptive statistics that used in this study is hypothetical mean. The results of thisresearch show the attitudes of Amahusu youth towards pela included in the positivecategory with an overall mean of 91.28, supported also by the three aspects classified aspositive, namely cognitive, affective, and conative aspects. The positive attitude of the youthtowards pela can be influential in strengthening the relationship between the Amahusuvillage and the other village that has a pela relationship with Amahusu.Keberadaan pela sebagai adat di Maluku mempunyai peranan penting dalamkehidupan masyarakat Maluku yang memiliki identitas beragam. Penelitian ini dilakukanuntuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran sikap pemuda negeri Amahusu terhadap pela.Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 155 pemuda desa Amahusu. Pengambilan data dalampenelitian ini menggunakan skala sikap terhadap pela. Metode penelitian ini adalahpenelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Perhitungan statistik deskriptif yangdipakai dalam menganalisa penelitian ini menggunakan mean hipotetik. Hasil penelitianini menunjukan sikap pemuda Amahusu terhadap pela termasuk dalam kategori positifdengan mean keseluruhan sebesar 91.28, didukung juga oleh ketiga aspek yang tergolongpositif yaitu aspek kognitif, aspek afektif, dan aspek konatif. Sikap positif pemuda terhadappela dapat berpengaruh dalam mempererat relasi pela antara negeri Amahusu dengannegeri yang memiliki hubungan pela dengan Amahusu
