Hannah Brubaker\u27s Portfolio

This portfolio includes an array of work completed during my time at Duquesne University, both Pittsburgh and Italian campuses. It consists of an informative blog about Autism, a literature analysis about Japanese internment camps, journal entries from my time abroad in Rome, a research paper regarding refugee education in Lebanon, and an article review relating to intercultural communication. Throughout my time at Duquesne, I learned about the importance of holistic health, cultural sensitivity, and having an open mind. I began my journey as an occupational therapy student; however, due to change of passion, I ended with a degree in health sciences and intercultural engagement with plans to achieve an MSW in the near future. These pieces of my portfolio encompass my path at Duquesne along with my interests in travel, justice, people’s stories, and love for mankind. I have had unique experiences in and outside of the classroom that have shaped my beliefs in regards to health, education, and equal opportunities. My time abroad allowed me to view the world from a different perspective which was challenging, yet rewarding.
