Connotations of Vilnius in the Polish version of Algis Kalėda’s book In the Search of the Poetic Identity of Vilnius (2016)

The authors of the article, on the ground of literary and lingu-istic methodology, analyze the creative profile and achievements of Professor Algis Kalėda (1952–2017), a well-known Lithuanian literature researcher, poet, literary critic and translator. The main object of the analysis is a collection of Kalėda’s essays In the Search of the Poetic Identity of Vilnius(2016), and the purpose of the analysis is to show multicultural contexts in the reception of this unique city
