Henrietta Marimon was born in Kentucky on January 19, 1894. She came to Toledo from Akron, where she had been executive director of the YWCA for 11 years. In Toledo, Miss Marimon headed fundraising and construction of the YWCA building on Jefferson Avenue. She retired in 1960. She was a graduate of Transylvania University, Lexington, and earned a master's degree in religious education at Columbia Univerity's Teachers College. She also attended Western Reserve University. She was a past president of United Church Women, former deaconess at First Congregational Church, past chairman of the Toledo chapter of the American Association of Social Workers, and former board member of the Toledo chapter of the American Association of University Women...
