Cars and pedestrians pass the construction site of the James A. Rhodes State Office Tower, near the corner of Broad and High Streets in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Located at 30 East Broad Street, the Rhodes Tower is named for James A. Rhodes, who served as Mayor of Columbus (1944-1952), Auditor of State (1953-1963) and Governor of Ohio (1963-1971, 1975-1983). Completed in 1974, the Rhodes Tower is the tallest office building in Columbus.
