Thomas Rotch writes to Josiah Foster, Clerk of the South Gate Middlesex Meeting in England. Rotch and Horton Howard acknowledge the receipt of Quaker Epistles that circulated to Friends worldwide from Yearly Meetings, in this case, from the London Yearly Meeting. Friends were expected to follow the spiritual directives of Epistles and each family would hopefully have a copy for reading and study in their home. Here Rotch and Howard order 2000 copies to be distributed to families who were members of the Mount Pleasant Yearly Meeting.7.75" x 12.5" (19.69 x 31.75cm
