Classical tradition in contemporary Brazil: greek epigraphy approaches

This paper aims to present some points on the presence of elements of Classical Antiquity in contemporary western societies from the observation of possible structural links between the Portuguese language (its writing system, more precisely) and the composition of the Greek alphabetical system in Classical Antiquity.
