Psychoanalysis and the Oedipal Complex: (new) observations from Hamlet

Cet article est un exercice pour comprendre la question du complexe d'Oedipe dans la psychanalyse. Au-delà de tracer le dévellopement de cette concept dans l' oeuvre de Freud, il prend l'histoire de Hamlet comme ilustración pour mettre en evidenc e dans l'art les posibles manifestations du phenomene oedipien. Pour concluire, il fait quelques liaisons entre la psychanalyse et la tragédie.This article is an exercise of comprehension of the Oedipal Complex in Psychoanalysis. Therefore, beyond tracing the development of the concept in the Freud's work, it takes the story of Hamlet as an illustrative device to testify through art the possible manifestations of the oedipian phenomenon. In conclusion, it also emphatises the possible inter-relations between psychoanalysis and tragedy.Este artigo se constitui como um exercício de compreensão do Complexo de Édipo em Psicanálise. Neste sentido, além de traçar o desenvolvimento do conceito na obra de Freud, adota a história de Hamlet como um recurso ilustrativo para evidenciar, por meio da arte, as possíveis manifestações do fenômeno edipiano. Em termos conclusivos, evidencia ainda as possíveis inter-relações entre a Psicanálise e o contexto da tragédia
