Educação Ambiental de Corpo e Alma Através de Metodologias Participativas Junto a Alunos do 6.° ao 9.° Anos do Ensino Fundamental

Earth is undergoing intense transformations that are threatening the life of living beings. One of the means to remedy this critical state is by means of environmental education. It is being developed at EMEFEI Teacher Laura Rebouças de Abreu, Dois Córregos (SP), the project called "Environmental education of body and soul". The goals are to make the students to recognize themselves as an integral part of nature, to see themselves as historical subjects endowed with the perception that they can change their realities and that their attitudes may have continuity. This project has been using participative methodologies that give voice to all participants, making them to recognize, analyze and propose solutions to their problems. It is dialectic, reflective and aims at overcoming the contradictions experienced through the critical appropriation of reality. Three changes in the students were observed. The first was the extension of their conception of environment and its problematics. Based on this conception, the students built the tree of dreams, meaning what they wanted to happen in order to change their realities. The third momentum was called the stones of the path, that are nothing else than the obstacles found to solve the problems. Based on these findings they began to search and construct the initial and necessary knowledge to obtain their achievements, which are already being put into practice. The conclusion is that environmental education developed by means of these methodologies results in the formation of reflective and politically participatory human beings, so necessary nowadays.A Terra está passando por transformações intensas que estão ameaçando a vida dos seres vivos. Um dos meios de sanar esse estado crítico é através da educação ambiental. Está sendo desenvolvido na Emefei Professora Laura Rebouças de Abreu, no município de Dois Córregos (SP), o Projeto denominado “Educação Ambiental de Corpo e Alma”. Os objetivos são: fazer com que os alunos se reconheçam como parte integrante da natureza, que os alunos se vislumbrem como sujeitos históricos, dotados da percepção de que podem mudar as suas realidades, e que essas atitudes tenham continuidade. Este projeto vem utilizando as metodologias participativas que dão voz a todos participantes, fazendo com que reconheçam, analisem e proponham soluções para os seus problemas. É dialética, reflexiva e visa à superação das contradições vividas, através da apropriação crítica da realidade. Constataram-se três mudanças nos alunos. A primeira foi a ampliação da concepção de meio ambiente e de suas problemáticas. A partir disso, os alunos construíram a árvore dos sonhos, que significou o que eles queriam que acontecesse para poder mudar as suas realidades. A terceira dinâmica foi denominada as pedras do caminho, que nada mais são que os empecilhos encontrados para a solução dos problemas. A partir dessas constatações, começaram a pesquisar e a construir os conhecimentos iniciais e necessários às suas realizações, que já estão sendo postas em prática. Conclui-se, portanto, que a educação ambiental realizada por meio dessas metodologias implica a formação de seres reflexivos e participativos politicamente, tão necessários em nossa época
