Lenguaje y mito en el ejemplo de la terminología cristiana

Mythical language is recognizably different from logical discourse. This fact is detectable also in Christian terminology, even as this form of religion is admittedly intensely permeated by "rationality" in its usual narrow sense of logical, critical thinking. The article explores two central, exclusively Christian terms (Mythical language - evangel or gospel) and finds that they do not mean what could be thought of as their obvious, logical, first sight meaning. Resurrection is spiritual or transcendental rather than physical or biological. Gospel is not primarily historical, plan truth, but symbolical construction of a world view. Thus, the only way to realize the true meaning of a religious (or artistic) message is to recognize the mythical nature of its linguistic expression.El lenguaje del mito se diferencia reconociblemente del lenguaje del pensamiento lógico. Ese hecho es detectable también en la terminología característica de la religión cristiana, a pesar se que ésta está profundamente influida por la racionalidad en su sentido estrecho. Un examen de dos términos centrales del cristianismo lo puede comprobar. Se estudia el caso del término "resurrección", que lógicamente sugiere un fenómeno físico y biológico pero es sólo comprensible en la religión como de carácter "espiritual" o trascendente. Se esperaría lógicamente que el evangelio reportara la verdad histórica, pero se comprueba quer este género literario se endereza a fines diferentes: una cosmovisión simbólica. Se sugiere que reconocer la naturaleza mítica del discurso es esencial para penetrar en su genuino mensaj
