La pro-existencia: un modo de ser y de hablar de Dios en el contexto latinoamericano

Human languages about God will always be limited to understand His mystery. Nonetheless these languages are necessary to make intelligible and audible His revelation. Aware of this tension intrinsic to any language about God, the present article seeks to retrieve the category of pro-existence as a way of being and a way of talking about God. God's self-revelation and selfdonation are the foundation for recognizing the validity of such language. God doesn't live for Himself, He always lives for others, exists for others. Jesus experiences, engages in intimacy with and practices the God of pro-existenciality, the God of the Kingdom. This way of talking about God allows overcoming in Latin America sacrificial readings in which God appears justifying human pain and sorrow
