This article explains the characteristics that surrounded and singled out the Spanish artist exiled in Mexico after the Civil War, especially those referred to the number, the professional actitivy, the installation and integration, the association, the professional means and the influences. Therefore, the analysis is channelled into illustrating the whole of the path and collective action, standing out the links of this Spanish 20th century art branch with the social, political and cultural factors.El presente artículo trata de las características que rodearon y singularizaron al artista español exiliado en México tras la guerra civil, especialmente las referidas a número, actividad profesional, instalación e integración, agrupaciones, medios profesionales e influencias.
