The aim of this research is to adapt the Free time management scale (Wei-Ching Wang, Chin-Hsung Kao, Tzung-Cheng Huan, Chung-Chi Wu, 2011) to Turkish and to examine its psychometric properties. The research was conducted on 447 university students from various faculties of Gazi University, Turkey. First of all, lingual equivalence of the scale was applied. Explanatory (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were used for validity analysis of the scale. In the result of the EFA, Being in English originally, this scale consisted of 15 items and 4 dimensions. While the number of the items were exactly the same in the ‘leisure attitude’ and ‘scheduling’, ‘goal setting and technique’ was 6 items and ‘evaluating’ was 3 items. Confirmatory ...
