A QUALIDADE DE VIDA NO TRABALHO DE PESSO AS COM DEFICIÊNCIA: UM ESTUDO DE CASO EM UMA GRANDE EMPRESA D O SETOR METALÚRGICO

This study is aimed at investigating quality of working life of people with disability, having as a base Walton's Theoretical model (1973). The study was directed towards people with visual, hearing and physical disability. The research was of descriptive character, upon studying a case in a large metallurgical company. Quantitativeand qualitative research method was adopted, starting by applying questionnaires and conducting interviews. Result analysis permitted satisfactory conclusion of quality of working life of the surveyed population. Salary, work conditions, use and development of capacities and professional growth opportunities were factors thatpresented the lowest averages. Being interviewed about the factors that are determinant in their quality of working life, the interviewed numbered them in order of importance and declared that opportunity for professional growth was most influential in their quality of working life and relevant factors in their work, rightsin the company and equilibrium between work and life, in this order, interfered less in their quality of working life
