In order to collect information about the impact of the actions under "Comenius 1" the Education Department (Ministry of the Flemish Community) has ordered this study. The aim of this study is to obtain an image of the Comenius 1 in Flanders, both at the level of the educational institutions and at the level of individual students and teachers. More specifically, policy makers wanted to know how the participating schools (principals), teachers and students perceive the Comenius program and its objectives.
