STANDARDISASI SIMPLISIA KULIT KAYU MANIS (Cinnamomum burmanni Nees Ex Bl.) DARI DAERAH KANDANGAN, KARANGANYAR, DAN KERINCI

Cinnamomum burmanni Nees Ex Bl. is one of medicinal plants and has been used as traditional medicine for antiinflamatory. Cinnamon bark will be developed as standardized herbal drug. So, the standardization process should be done and it is begun by determination of standard parameter of simplicia which will be used. Standard parameter which used in this research refers to Herbal Pharmacopoeia of Indonesia. Determination of water soluble extractive subtance from Kandangan was (7,07% ± 0,03), Karanganyar (10,07% ± 0,02), and Kerinci (12,03% ± 0,02). Determination of ethanol soluble extractive substance from Kandangan was (18,15% ± 0,01), Karanganyar (23,26% ± 0,92), and Kerinci (30,62% ± 0,54). Determination of total volatile oils content from Kandangan was (0,50% ± 0,00), Karanganyar (1,00% ± 0,00), and Kerinci (1,50% ± 0,00). Determination of cinnamaldehyde content from Kandangan was 0,58%, Karanganyar 0,66%, and Kerinci 0,73%. Determination of loss on drying content from Kandangan was (9,54% ± 1,00), Karanganyar (10,70% ± 0,83), and Kerinci (12,02% ± 0,96). Determination of water content from Kandangan was (5,00% ± 0,50), Karanganyar (8,00% ± 0,50), and Kerinci (8,83% ± 1,26). Determination of total ash content from Kandangan was (5,46% ± 0,04), Karanganyar (4,22% ± 0,01), and Kerinci (4,12% ± 0,01). Determination of acid insoluble ash content from Kandangan was (0,27% ± 0,02), Karanganyar (0,15% ± 0,01), and Kerinci (0,12% ± 0,03). Chromatograph pattern by TLC showed that cinnamon bark from Kandangan, Karanganyar, and Kerinci has cinnamaldehyde content
