Yi ge Tukuman Wangguo: Galeimang ren 一个土库曼王国：尕勒莽人

Muchof Turkmens who came to Anatolia escaped from the Mongol invasion were settled in the southernregions of Anatolia by the Anatolian Seljuk State which experienced the mostpowerful period in first quarter of 13th century. These Turkmen tribes wereorganized under the Karamanids’ administration. Karamanids soon acquired animportant position in Turkish politics through geographical opportunities andthe political vacuum created by the struggle of the Anatolian Seljuks againstthe Mongols. Karamanids had made significant contributions to Anatolia as theTurks’ homeland. In addition, they fought against theMongolian invasion in union with the Turkmens. In addition, they organized Turkmen tribes againstthe Mongol invasion and fought together. In this study we examine thediscussions about the origin of the Karamanids and the effects of Anatoliabecoming the Turkishhomeland.
