The phospholipid fractions of cerebro-spinal fluid taken from 5 normal people were investigated by separation with unidimensional thin layer chromatography. Also quantitative analysis of lecithin was done. It was found that 100 ml CSF contains 15.06 µg phospholipid and 6.2 µg lecithin phosphorus
