Abstract: The Ghassulian culture is the most relevant cultural entity in the Chalcolithic of Southern Levant (4500–3700/3600 BCE). The purpose of this paper is to determinate the interregional links of its iconographical assemblage. It analyzed similarities between the Ghassulian iconography and others regions of Near East Asia and Northeast Africa, as well as long distance relationships between those regions. The conclusion is that, although this culture maintained links with Egypt and Eastern Anatolian, this is not enough to explain the features of its iconographical assemblage.Resumen: La cultura Ghassuliense es la entidad cultural más relevante del Calcolítico Sudlevantino (4500–3700/3600 a.C.).
