The author of the following study considers the issue of values and valuation on the basis of the selected theories related to artistic education. In her theoretical and investigative disquisitions she focuses on showing the role of personal values in the psychological, emotional and characterological context. Moreover, the author also discusses the categorical nature of personal values, their most important features and importance for musical development.
