Thiosemicarbazone metal complexes were synthesized in the lab and their effects as anticancer agents—in respect to their inhibition with Topoisomerase II within the cell genome—were observed. Breast cancer cell-lines MDA-231 and HCF-7 were extracted into medium, and allowed to replicate in vitro. We then implement thiosemicarbazone metal complexes within the cell-lines to observe effects on cells and whether or not they work as anticancer agents.
