In 2012, Armenia made a moderate advancement in efforts to eliminate the worst forms of child labor. The Government adopted a strategic program on the protection of the rights of children in Armenia for 2013-2016 with a specific child labor component, and a National Plan of Action Against Trafficking in Persons for years 2013-2015. The Government continued to support human trafficking awareness-raising efforts, and the police introduced a hotline for trafficking related calls.
