In 2012, Azerbaijan made a moderate advancement in efforts to eliminate the worst forms of child labor. The Government passed a law prohibiting the production of child pornography and the President established through Decree No. 626 the development of a coordinating mechanism for activities conducted by all central authorities assigned to the protection of child rights.
