This university or sections: is divided into three zones — The West zone is devoted to science; — The central zone is devoted to the arts; — The East part is connected with long term research and development work, in fields of science that are not yet well known. Each section was planned with maximum flexibility in its internal arrangements, so that its Inner organisation could be changed, to adapt It to a variety of functions, though always within the same fundamental system of structures. By a very careful planning of the buildings, the double object of obtaining the maximum external perimeter and optimum natural illumination and ventilation has been achieved.Está dividida básicamente en tres zonas o escuelas: — la zona oeste, destinada a «Ciencias»; — la central, a «Artes»; — y la este, al desarrollo de «Investigaciones» a largo plazo, en campos de la ciencia, todavía no bien conocidos. Cada escuela fue diseñada con una flexibilidad máxima en su distribución, y con la posibilidad de poder modificar su fisonomía interior, a fin de adaptarla a usos diferentes, en caso necesario, aunque siempre dentro de un sistema básico de estructuras y servicios. Con la cuidadosa ordenación de los edificios, se ha conseguido el doble propósito de: disponer del máximo perímetro y de lograr las mejores iluminación natural y ventilación de las aulas y dependencias anejas
