Sherrie Cotton, 20, sentenced to four years in prison for manslaughter and aggravated assault for the September 1991 death of her 2-month-old son, insists that she is innocent, and hopes to regain custody of her other two children. Authorities say Cotton stuffed a sock in the mouth of Chase Vincent Crowley to stop his crying. The child had suffered 29 rib and leg fractures before his death. Details
