A $31,000 study commissioned by the Town of Wells and the York County Community Action Corp. has determined that the construction of an Amtrak station and YCCAC bus station will cost about $3.3 million, and could be funded mostly, if not completely, with federal money. Wells has been selected as one of the stops on the Portland to Boston passenger rail line, expected to begin service by 1994
