this just in piece reporting that Louis Philippe, head of Portland-based Reindeer Records, filed a claim in small-claims court against AOL for failing to block junk email. His claim was based on a new Maine law prohibiting Internet spam. Philippe is asking AOL for $1,320 to compensate for time lost having to sort through unwanted emails. The court date is scheduled for the beginning of November
