Coastal Farms and Foods has opened a food storage and processing center in the old Moss manufacturing building on the outskirts of Belfast which has served as an incubator for small-scale entrepreneurs like Julie Romano, who makes salsa, and Brian McCarthy, who is preparing a line of flavored dilly beans, and is enabling farmers and growers to store produce, which means they can grow more and not have to reply solely on direct sales to consumers.
