Intergenerational conflict is an issue between Millennials and older generations (Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, and Generation X). Millennials are a growing population in the workforce and supervisors have been tasked with grooming them as future managers and leaders. There are currently four generations in the workplace: (a) Millennials (born 1981–2002); (b) Generation X (born 1965–1980); (c) Baby Boomers (born 1946–1964); and (d) Traditionalists (born 1929–1945).
