CHILD ABUSE: REKONSTRUKSI KE ARAH KESEHATAN MENTAL

Indonesia is in severe emergency situations for child abuse. It has becomes a national issue in the past years. Ironically, such abuses are enforced by people around the children, such as parents, either their real father or the step one, grandfather, uncle, older brother and even their their teachers. As a result, the abused children suffer from physical problems and traumatic psychological experiences which in turn cause bad impact on their mental health. Furthermore, the abuse children will also potentially cause other abuses to other children. To heal the trauma, efforts to reconstruct the mental health of the abused children should be urgently carried out to minimalize the unexpected problems in their future and they can grow properly as humans. This article tries to discuss some important issues concerning with child abuse, effects of the abuse and and reconstructive efforts for their better mental health due to the abuse they suffer from
