Law on Child Protection number 23 2002 chapter l Article l paragraphs 1 and 2 : 1) the child is a person under 18 (eighteen) years , including children who are still in the womb , 2) Protection of children is any activity to ensure and protecting children and their rights in order to live , grow, develop and participate optimally in accordance with human dignity and protection from violence and discrimination. Sihotang said forms of violence on children is divided into four, namely: a) Persecution non- accidental physical injury ranging from mild bruserlaceration to the severe neurologic injury and death. b) emotional Persecution is marked by criticism or derogatory words a child , does not recognize as a child . c) Persecution of Sexual d) neglect of children or abnormalities that direct activity or behavior which may cause deleterious effects on the child's physical condition and psychological development. Perpetrators of child abuse most people close to children such as parents, teachers, adults around children to peers. For it takes the role of donor policies, education , child and community observers to contribute to give thought to the public discourse through parenting , any extension of the activities which make people aware of the importance of educating children
