The study has been carried out to determine 3rd grade students’ misconceptions underlying common mistakes about fractions. Using the “Diagnosis Test” method on 3rd grade students (n=113), it aims to determine the misconceptions encountered in their learning of the relationships between the fraction’s model, symbol and their verbal expression.
