Educational Inspection in the context of law 2/2006 of education: Functions

La inspección educativa es uno de los principales agentes en el sistema educativo, contribuyendo de forma evidente a su mejora en toda su extensión. Su posición privilegiada le permite observar tanto la realidad diaria de los centros educativos, como los ámbitos de gestión pura vinculada a la organización educativa y escolar. El conocimiento de sus funciones ayuda a entender su papel en el sistema y valorar en su justa medida la importancia que tiene. El marco normativo a tener en cuenta es la ley 2/2006. No obstante, debe tenerse presente el desarrollo normativo de cada comunidad autónoma.Educational inspection is one of the main agents in the Spanish education system. Through it, it contributes in an evident way to the improvement of the educational system in all its extension. The privileged position of the inspection allows you to observe both the daily reality of schools and the areas of pure management linked to education. Knowledge of their functions helps to understand their role in the system and to appreciate the importance it has. The normative framework to take into account is the law 2/2006. Nevertheless, the regulatory development of each autonomous community must be taken into account
