UND Law Alumni Begin Work as North Dakota Supreme Court Clerks

The Supreme Court is pleased to announce the following individuals who have been selected to serve a one-year clerkship with the Court for the 2014-2015 term beginning on August 1, 2014. Andrew Askew of Devils Lake received a B.A. in English from the University of North Dakota and a B.S. in Business Management from St. Cloud State University. He received his J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law in May 2014. He is the son of Stuart Askew of Cavalier and Paulette and Kim Paulson of Devils Lake. Meagen Essen of Fargo received a B.A. in English with minors in Spanish and Political Science from the North Dakota State University. She received her J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law in May 2014. She is the daughter of David and Lori Essen of Fargo. Justin Hagel of Napoleon received a B.A. in Political Science and Honors from the University of North Dakota in 2006. He received his J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law in May 2014. He is the son of Larry and Debra Hagel of Bismarck. Jill Martin of Jamestown received a B.S. in Psychology from the University of North Dakota. She received her J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law in May 2014. She is the daughter of Robert and Gail Martin of Jamestown. Erica Woehl of Bismarck received B.A. degrees in Communications and Political Science and a minor in Sociology of Law, Criminal Behavior and Deviance from the University of Minnesota. She received her J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law and her Masters of Public Administration from the University of North Dakota College of Business & Public Administration in May 2014. She is the daughter of Doug and JoLinda Woehl of Bismarck
