From the symbol of our athletic teams, the little fellow has now come into his own as our literary symbol. On the following pages, his face will greet you often. He\u27s a cute, rolypoly guy, but it was not for that reason we chose him as our central figure. He represents something important to us, today\u27s youth. He is the symbol of strength, of pluck, and of sheer determination.
