The foreseeable shortages due to the increased population and the industrial activities in the world, and today's already unreliable and distinctly expensive fossil resources are forcing a diversification of energy sources and driving the demand toward renewable technologies in the near term. Based on the fact that many remote and isolated sites in Jordan are located far away from the national electric grid and cannot be connected to it in the near future.
