This study examined the association of human resource management practices on employees’ performance in the banking industry in Nigeria. The study population comprised one hundred and thirty nine employees of five selected banks in Port Harcourt. A sample size of 103 respondents was drawn using the Taro Yamen’s formula. The study adopted the questionnaire method of data collection and the data were presented with tables and simple percentages; whereas the analysis was done using the Spearman Rank Order Correlation Co-efficient with the aid of the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS).
