CARACTERIZAÇÃO MORFOLÓGICA DE BRIÓFITAS NO MUNICÍPIO DE BENJAMIN CONSTANT-AM

The Amazon is an important endemism center for the bryophytes, and Brioflora knowledge of this biome is still limited in the region of Alto Solimões, due to some factors such as the difficulty of access to the most remote locations of large urban centers and the scarcity of scholars. This work aimed at the morphological characterization of bryophytes in the municipality of Benjamin Constant-AM. The methods used were according to the techniques described by Yano (1984) and Lisboa (1993) the collections occurred at a site of 26 ha, located in BR-307 that connects the municipality of Benjamin Constant to Atalaia do Norte. In January, 2017, twenty-two samples were collected and analyzed using a magnifying glass and binocular microscope at the Laboratory of Microbiology of the Institute of Nature and Culture, which resulted in the identification of nineteen species among mosses and hepatics. These species are divided in five orders (Dicranales, Rhizogoniles, Porellales, Pottiales, Jungermanniales) and eight families, (Calymperaceae, Calypogeiaceae, Lejeuneaceae, Lepizociaceae, Rhizogoniaceae, Pottiaceae, Racopilaceae, Plagiochilaceae). The most frequent family of the phyllo Bryophyta was the Calymperaceae with six occurrences; of the phylum Marchantiophyta was the Plagiochilaceae with two occurrences. Were also characterized in relation to the arrangement and morphology of the filids. It should be noted that the morphological characterization of bryophytes shows that the studies that focus on the Brioflora are important for the knowledge of the local richness, being the first floristic survey of the municipality of Benjamin Constant.Keywords: Brioflora; Amazon; substrates.A Amazônia é um importante centro de endemismo para as briófitas, e o conhecimento da Brioflora desse bioma ainda é limitado na região do Alto Solimões, por alguns fatores como, a dificuldade de acesso às localidades mais afastadas dos grandes centros urbanos e pela escassez de estudiosos nessa área. Este trabalho objetivou a caracterização morfológica de briófitas no município de Benjamin Constant-AM. O método utilizado foi de acordo com as técnicas descritas por Yano (1984) e Lisboa (1993), as coletas ocorreram em um sítio de 26 ha, localizado na BR-307 que interliga o município de Benjamin Constant a Atalaia do Norte. Em janeiro, de 2017, foram coletadas vinte e duas amostras e analisadas com auxílio da lupa e microscópio binocular no Laboratório de Microbiologia do Instituto de Natureza e Cultura, que resultaram na identificação de dezenove espécies entre musgos e hepáticas. Estas espécies encontram-se divididas em cinco ordens (Dicranales, Rhizogoniles, Porellales, Pottiales, Jungermanniales) e oito famílias, (Calymperaceae, Calypogeiaceae, Lejeuneaceae, Lepizociaceae, Rhizogoniaceae, Pottiaceae, Racopilaceae, Plagiochilaceae). A família mais frequente do filo Bryophyta foi a Calymperaceae com seis ocorrências; do filo Marchantiophyta foi a Plagiochilaceae com duas ocorrências; também foram caracterizadas em relação à disposição e morfologia dos filídios. Ressalta-se, que a caracterização morfológica das briófitas demonstra que a realização de estudos que enfoquem a Brioflora é importante para o conhecimento da riqueza local, sendo o primeiro levantamento florístico do município de Benjamin Constant.Palavras-chave: Brioflora, Amazônia, substratos
