Application of the component method on the steel beam to column bolted joint

U radu je dan kratak opis metode komponenata. Primjena metode komponenata prikazana je na numeričkom primjeru priključka stupa i grede s obostrano produljenom čeonom pločom. Priključak je preuzet iz laboratorijskih ispitivanja, koje su proveli kineski znanstvenici. Proračun je proveden u skladu s europskom normom HRN EN 1993-1-8. Za kontrolu dobivenih rezultata proračun je proveden u programu RAM Connection Standalone. Na kraju, rezultati proračuna uspoređeni su s rezultatima dobivenim laboratorijskim ispitivanjima. Rezultati su zadovoljavajući.In this paper, a short description of the component method is given. The application of the component method is shown on the numerical example of the beam-to-column joint with double extended end-plate. The connection was taken from the experiments conducted by Chinese scientists. The calculation is made in accordance with the Europen standard HRN EN 1993-1-8. The results of the calculation are controlled in the program RAM Connection Standalone. In the end, the results of the calculation were compared with the results of the experiment. The results are satisfactory
