The paper analyses the load-carrying capacity of a bolted overlapping connection between a floor beam and a column. Three variants of the connection were considered: without the support seat and with support in the form of an angle bracket and a plate. The value of force acting on the connection was determined based on calculations made for the adopted conditions. The load-carrying capacity of bolts and plates for the assumed load was evaluated and the values of stress in the contact zone were compared for the analysed cases.
